Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Spin The Wheel - Random Picker works without an account. The wheels you create are stored in your browser's localStorage on your device — they never leave it unless you explicitly share them.

Local Wheels

Entries, titles, preferences, and trash are kept in your browser only. Clearing your browser data deletes them. We never upload local wheels to our servers.

Shared Wheels

When you share a wheel, we store the wheel title, its entries, aggregate spin/view counts, and a salted hash of your IP address (for abuse rate limiting — the raw IP is never stored). A manage token that lets you delete or unpublish the wheel later is issued to your browser only — we store its hash, not the token itself.

Accounts (Optional)

If you create an account, we store your email address, name, and authentication data (handled by our auth provider). Accounts are optional and not required to use the wheel. Emails we send are limited to verification, password resets, and essential account communications.

Analytics and Cookies

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics that do not build user profiles. See our cookie policy for details.

Your Rights

You can delete any shared wheel yourself with the manage link from the device that created it. To delete an account and its data, use the in-app account deletion tool or contact us.
